The Truth About My Skin at 58 ...

This is a bit uncomfortable for me to share...

Lately, I’ve been hearing a lot of very kind comments about my skin—how do you look younger every time I see you (my cousin), your skin is glowing and you have no wrinkles ( I do actually), and the inevitable question: "What creams do you use?" These are actual things friends and family have said to me in the last few weeks but I've experienced this quite a few times over the last 10 years or so.

or "Are you doing Botox?"

The honest answer? I’m not. I don’t use fancy creams. I’ve never done Botox. I actually don’t have much of a skincare routine at all. In fact it's a bit of a joke with my friends that there are many nights I don't wash my face..truth!!

I'm not bragging at all...but my husband encouraged me to write about this and share truly what I feel the answer is to these questions.

And trust me—this isn’t about genetics or magic potions. I truly believe the real secret lives under the surface. It’s about what I feed my body, how I care for it, and the rhythms I choose to live by.

* Nourishing food
* Plenty of water
*A mostly alcohol-free lifestyle, plant forward.
*Staying in alignment with what feels good for my body
*Rest, movement, and a deep respect for self-care

At 58, I’ve come to realize that “glow” is an inside job. Not a marketing trick.

This isn’t to say I’ve figured it all out. Just that vibrant health shows up in quiet, consistent ways—and it has nothing to do with perfection or pressure.

If you’re craving that inner glow, start with gentle curiosity:
— What would your body thank you for today?
— Where could you add nourishment instead of restriction?
— What might it feel like to choose vitality over vanity?

Because your radiance is already there. Sometimes it just needs a little more room to shine.
